From Department Head

The sole unchanging fact of today's business world is change. In such situation, processes, methods and strategies of making business have to focus on coping with this change. Increasing business world dynamics require focusing on the management fact with a more flexible and sophisticated approach. With this regard, the main aim of our department is training “managers or manager candidates” who are able to solve the problems encountered in business world via modern management approaches, offer rational and scientific solutions to these problems, move based on scientific data during decision-making process, be armed with the essential knowledge to establish their own businesses and open to modern ideas and developments. In the preparation of our academic programs, national and international organizations and their requirements are taken into consideration and existing courses are constantly being reviewed and updated in parallel with the views of faculty members with knowledge in their field. The main purpose of our programs is to raise generations equipped with skills, abilities and up- to-date information in their field, and also having ethical principles creative and researcher personality.
Our curriculum of the Department of Management offers an opportunity to our students in specializing on the areas of management-organization, accounting and finance, production and marketing and it has a property to be one of the most important sources of manpower in our country with the employees that are required by both the public and private sectors in marketing, production, accounting, finance, management-organization. Our education program contains courses which allow application as well as theoretical education and grounds on current management problems and these courses are given by experienced instructors in their fields. The opportunity of making internship in different companies for voluntary students is given within this scope. Additionally, the opportunity of studying at least one term via ERASMUS and student exchange programs applied with different universities of the world is provided to students of our department.
