The Department of Business, operating under the Faculty of Business Administration, has been training human resources equipped with entrepreneurship and management knowledge and skills within the scope of cooperation with the business world and its expert academic staff since 1993.

Our Department trains Turkish and English Undergraduate, Master's with Thesis and PhD (Accounting Finance, Production Management and Marketing, Management and Organization), Master of Business Administration without Thesis (formal and distance). Our department is one of Turkey's business segments experienced and leading experts in the field with the academic staff.
Cooperation with the Business World
Sakarya University Business Department attaches great importance to university-industry cooperation. Our department is in communication and cooperation with companies and related institutions in the city of Sakarya and its surrounding industry and trade sector. Within the scope of the optional 7 + 1 education model applied in our department, our students who wish to gain work experience by doing an internship in a company for a semester, thus getting to know the business world before graduation and increasing their opportunities to have a job. In addition, "Sector Courses", the contents of which have been created according to the needs and expectations of the sector, with the personal participation of business people from different sectors in graduate programs are offered to students as elective courses.
Department Employment and Career Opportunities
Graduates of Sakarya University Business Administration Department can work as an inspector, accountant, controller, etc. in public and private sector organizations. In addition to their duties, they have the opportunity to work as a professional and manager in the finance, accounting, management, marketing, sales, production and human resources departments of enterprises operating nationally and internationally. It is possible for the graduates of the department, who have gained the qualifications of independent business and entrepreneurship, to work as independent accountants and financial advisors. Students who have successfully completed the program can apply for master's and doctoral degrees in the field of Business Administration or other branches of science that accept students from this field.
Double Degree opportunities with Double Major Program (Double Major)
The Business Administration Department has an agreement with Human Resources Management, Health Management, International Trade and Management Information Systems, which are the other departments of our Faculty, and a Double Major Program (Double Major Program), and our students have the opportunity to graduate with two diplomas. On the other hand, our department students have the opportunity to complete the Minor Programs of other departments and increase their knowledge and experience in a specific subject within the scope of another undergraduate program they are interested in.
Education in Foreign Language and Internationalization Vision
English Business Department students take all of their courses in English after the English preparatory education. For the Turkish program, it is possible to take optional English preparation and some of the department courses in English. Thanks to our programs that offer full English education or partially provide some courses in English, international students are intensely interested in our faculty and department. In addition, we have agreements with many universities within the scope of Erasmus, Mevlana and Farabi exchange programs. Our Business School, which is rapidly advancing towards internationalization, has been a member of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which has accredited the world's distinguished Business Schools since 2014, and plans to complete the accreditation process in the near future.
